CROSS-PLATFORM ADAPTATION
One asset is not a one-click upload to four platforms.
Use this when a finished video, graphic post, article, or script will go to Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Weixin Video Accounts, and Kuaishou. The Skill treats every destination as a separate release version.
Use it in one prompt
Use $media-publish-check to review my uploaded video for Douyin, Xiaohongshu,
Weixin Video Accounts, and Kuaishou. Keep my core point, but check every platform for
cross-platform names, search/scan/add actions, AI/marketing/repost disclosures, music, and asset rights.
Give each platform only a decision, up to 3 issues, and replacement copy.
What adaptation focuses on
Platform names and external actions
When a target platform is specified, full names of other platforms, shopping or messaging products and search/open/add/scan/profile/buy calls-to-action need review.
Content and publishing-page labels
AI, marketing, repost, opinion, and reenactment disclosures are checked for each platform and final asset version.
Music, images, and assets
Availability can differ by publication setting. The review asks for source and rights evidence instead of assuming that use elsewhere is permission everywhere.
Titles, covers, and CTAs
Adapt tone, covers, and interaction prompts for the destination rather than copying a call-to-action unchanged.
Recommended principle: Do not mention another platform unless it is genuinely needed. Prefer transparent category language; do not treat euphemisms, codes, or hidden text as a guarantee of compliance.
